We accept all PPO’s (preferred provider organization), discount plans, and Delta Dental Premier plans. Unfortunately, we do not take any HMO’s, MEDI-CAL, or MEDI-CARE plans. If you have any questions about your type of coverage, our insurance coordinator will be happy to assist you.
This is a tough question to answer. We cannot determine the cost of treatment until the patient is seen and the doctor can assess what is needed. Typically, treatment options will be discussed with you beforehand and we will make out a treatment plan that is tailored to your dental and financial needs.
This is an excellent question and one that can be answered before you come into the office if we have your insurance information and know exactly what we are doing that day. (Emergency treatment will be discussed with you on the day of service) Certain procedures need pre-authorization by the insurance company before we can render our services, while others are covered at 100% routinely every year. This will all depend on the type of coverage you have and the extent of the treatment. It is wise to call the office BEFOREHAND with your insurance information so our coordinator can verify the information.
The best solution is to contact your employer or insurance provider to verify that you are covered. Typically, insurance companies have a customer service number that can assist you with your questions. Please be aware, YOU are ultimately responsible for the cost of treatment if your insurance company denies coverage. If you have questions we are always available to help discuss your options.
Yes! Even if you have good oral hygiene it is important to see the doctor routinely. Only the doctor can assess whether or not you have any dental issues that need to be monitered or treated. Do not wait until a tooth hurts to see the dentist!
